The McMaster Medicine and Health Society (MMHS) aims to inform and educate our members by acting as a resource for exploring various healthcare professions. We carry the goal to liaise students interested in pursuing a career in the medical/health-related fields with faculty members and healthcare professionals.  

As a member of the MMHS, you gain access to a variety of unique events, such as medical school information seminars, volunteer symposiums and bioethics discussions hosting a variety of renowned guest speakers. Additionally, the MMHS is partnered with many on-campus clubs and off-campus organizations that provide students with opportunities to get involved within their community. Furthermore, our partnership with The Princeton Review (TPR) gives MMHS members access to exclusive TPR sponsored events, while receiving discounts on many TPR prep courses.

We are also pleased to offer members our annual Journal of Healthcare Careers and Opportunities. This journal provides information on test writing, applying successfully to medical school, what to expect in medical school, applying to other healthcare-related professions and other healthcare related information.
