Hi everyone! My name is Pranshu, and I am thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to serve as one of the MMHS Co-Presidents this year. I’ve always been fascinated by the groundbreaking medical discoveries that, with every step, bring us closer to better understand the complexities of disease and medicine. As an aspiring gastroenterologist and physician-researcher, I can’t wait to share this passion of mine and more with our amazing members! My research interests include the microbiome, host-microbial interactions, and the mechanisms underlying the development and pathophysiology of IBD. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, and playing racket sports, like badminton and table tennis!

Hello, My name is Humphrey. I'm an international student from Indonesia doing my second year in MBG. I'm interested in medicine, specifically genetics and genetic disorders, but outside of that. I joined the MMHS to educate and help people stay well-informed in choosing a career in medicine and to collaborate with people of similar interests and goals. Outside of all that, I love sports like soccer, table tennis, and boxing, and adding movies to my watchlist that I'll probably never watch.
Hey! My name is Heba and I am a second year ChemBio student. I'm so excited to be on this team again this year and can't wait for all the amazing events.
Hey everyone! My name is Harmil, a current second-year in Arts&Science. In my first year, I had a thrill as a Junior Event coordinator and hoped to continue working with the MMHS team. As a VP of Communication this year, I will thrive to bring the club to more students! I can not wait to connect students with the resources MMHS provides and explore ways to grow the club. Outside MMHS and academics, I enjoy reading non-fiction texts, engaging in creative writing, and photographing wildlife. I also love to partake in competitive sports and work out!
Hi everyone! My name is Ayesha Yahya and I am in my third year of Health Sciences. Having moved to Canada 2 years ago, pursuing medicine in North America seemed daunting. I aim to bridge this gap between the student body and their goals in the healthcare field by deconstructing the application process and making it more approachable. When I'm not planning events, I love planning my outfits, baking and cafe hopping with my friends :)
I am very excited to get started as one of this year's events coordinators. With Ayesha and Yasmin, I have the unique opportunity to organize events that are extremely meaningful to me as well as the general body of this society. We have several initiatives lined up for this year that address the various facets of today's medicine and health industry. I am looking forward to what this year holds.
Hey there! I'm Yasmin and I am one of three events coordinators for MHS!! I am in my second-year of the Health Sciences program. My favourite things to do include reading until the sun rises, writing poems with too many intertwined metaphors, having spontaneously deep conversations with my friends, and going to art museums (what's you favourite exhibit?) I want to see the Japanese Sakura and learn how to speak Italian and Korean (my duolingo score is my pride and joy). I have absolutely no recognition of wearing weather-appropriate propaganda and dislike Fall, but Spring has all of my heart (MWAHHH <333). I was a professional equestrian for 7 years (and miss jumping sooooo much).
